Our mission: Spreading holiday cheer
The main goal of Mathew’s Toy Mountain Toy Drive is to bring joy, comfort, and a sense of belonging to children in our community during the Christmas season. We aim to ensure that every child, regardless of their family’s financial situation, receives a gift and experiences the happiness and excitement that the holidays should bring.
Through the generosity of our community, we collect and distribute new, unwrapped toys to families in need, helping to ease financial stress and create positive, lasting memories for children. Above all, our goal is to show children that they are cared for, supported, and not forgotten.

Angel trees will go up officially after Remembrance Day in Lancaster, marking the start of the holiday season. You can find these beautifully decorated trees at both the local drug store and the Bank of Montreal. This tradition begins shortly after Remembrance Day, as the community comes together to support those in need during the festive season. Each angel on the tree represents a child or family in need, and community members are encouraged to take an angel and fulfill their wish.
